Can you dig it...only a little over 7 months and it will be FESTIVAL time again..I am hoping to round up a whole lot of people to return to the falls that havent had been there in a long time...keep our fingers crossed and Todd, RON and Lea..I will definitely be there the SUNDAY before and will be setting up for the GET DOWN!!! ROCK ON! Happy Holidays

I played at the Mushroom festival 40 years ago, and our bassist lived in a cottage at Rock Falls. :!cool:

My husband and I were out there this weekend for the first time. We had a great time at the festival and will def look into your other fests next year. Thanks for having such a great venue

Great site, fun to check out the pix - especially the old timey ones!

I remember swimming at the Rock Falls pool once when I was a child back in the 70's. In order to be permitted in the deep end of the pool the life guards enforced a swimming test...I was too young and wasn't even allowed to take the test! My older sister passed and flaunted that she could go to the deep end....somehow I survived the drama and managed to enjoy the day.

In high school my friends and I skipped school a couple times and went there (totally walkable via the back woods and fields so parents couldn't see us!)...so nice, of course we all got tans and then had to make up some ridiculous excuse about having most of our classes outside that day (as if!!).

In college I went to a few parties down there...from what I remember, it was pretty wild!

I'm glad it's cleaned up and has a more family fun focus. Great news!
